Itinerary
In a single day, see two famous mediaeval Spanish cities. Explore Ávila's mediaeval walls and learn about the origins of several of its most significant landmarks. Select from one of our options to explore Segovia. You can explore Segovia on your own during your free time, or you can add a guided tour that includes admission to the city's breathtaking Alcazar or a delicious lunch that will tempt your taste buds.
One of Spain's best-preserved fortresses, the city of Ávila, will be our first destination of the day. Take a walking tour of the Old Town with your guide to learn about this city's remarkable past. See Gothic palaces, Romanesque-style churches, and a mediaeval fortified cathedral. Imagine the legends that have been told about the Walls of Ávila over the years as you see them. Admire the towers and walls, which have earned the city UNESCO's designation as a World Heritage Site.
The tour will continue to Segovia. We will split up into various groups when we arrive. You will have about three hours of free time if you have opted to explore Segovia at your own speed. You will have around an hour of spare time to eat lunch by yourself if you have selected the monument option. The remainder of the company will proceed to the restaurant for a delicious lunch that includes roast suckling pigs.
Those who choose the monument trip will reconvene with the guide to begin the tour in Segovia following lunch. Explore the city's historic Jewish district, stop at the Cathedral's exterior, and make your way to Segovia's Alcazar. Admire this magnificent fortification while taking a guided tour of the castle. Did you know that one of Walt Disney's films was influenced by its architecture? Which one can you tell us?
If you travelled alone to Segovia, meet the other members of the group at the prearranged time to head back to Madrid.

- The duration of the tour may be increased by up to half an hour, depending on the size of the group.
- Please note that depending on the option you choose; different things will be included in the tours.
- If you choose to see the cities on your own, only the entrance to the Walls will be included. ₋ This is a walking tour on arrival at the site.

- To get the full refund, you must cancel your booking at least 24 hours before the activity/tour start time.

- The activity/tour's local start time determines the cut-off times.

During major events, summer vacations, and weekends, the city will be quite busy. We will do everything we can to provide a smooth and consistent service! In such cases, no reimbursement is allowed.
- Tours run regardless of the weather. Weather-related refunds will not be issued unless the service is discontinued due to inclement weather.
