Itinerary
Malta has been inhabited for about eight millennia despite being in the middle of the sea. The earliest human settlers arrived on the island from the sea some 8,000 years ago. Perhaps they were drawn to the natural harbours that encircle the city and landed where Valletta is today. Perhaps the waterways they travelled on coincided with our harbour cruise.
The star-shaped Fort Manoel is located on Manoel Island in Marsamxett Harbour, and the harbour boat leaves from the Sliema Ferry Terminal in that direction. The Lazzaretto, a 16th-century quarantine hospital constructed in reaction to a plague outbreak in the city, is also located on the island. You can get off at Esplora and tour the settlement of Kalkara, which is where Fort Ricasoli is located. The fort has recently been used for filming sequences from Game of Thrones and Gladiator. When you're prepared, board the bus or return to the boat and proceed to your next location.
Your combination ticket also includes hop-on hop-off access to the island's two bus routes, the North and the South, allowing you to fully experience the island and see whatever you want to see. It's the ideal opportunity to learn a little bit more about this idyllic region, with more than 30 stops spread over the island.

- Your booking voucher will expire after you exchange it for a ticket.
- The company or bus operator will not provide a refund if a voucher or ticket is misplaced.
- Infants can travel free and you do not require to book infant ticket.

You can hop on and off the bus as much as you want for the duration of your ticket.
The Harbour Cruise can be utilised within 3 days from the first scan.
The 1-day ticket is to travel with the blue & red lines.
The 2-day bus ticket can be used in two separate blocks of 1 day. From the point that the ticket is first scanned to make use of the first day, you then have another 5 days to make use of the other day. The ticket cannot be used throughout the whole 5 days.
Information for Cruise Passengers:
- Upon exiting the cruise port gates, turn right and follow the path all the way along. You will see a blue booth and there you will find the City Sightseeing Malta buses. There will be City Sightseeing staff in the area to assist you.
Cancellation Policy
- To get the full refund, you must cancel your booking at least 24 hours before the activity/tour start time.
- If you cancel your booking less than 24 hours before the activity/ tour start time, you will not get any refund.
- Modifications/ changes are allowed at least 24 hours before the activity/ tour start time. You must contact us through email.
- The activity/tour's local start time determines the cut-off times.

During major events, summer vacations, and weekends, the city will be quite busy. We will do everything we can to provide a smooth and consistent service! In such cases, no reimbursement is allowed.
- Tours run regardless of the weather. Weather-related refunds will not be issued unless the service is discontinued due to inclement weather.
- The service provider preserves the right to amend or cancel the itinerary due to city events or force majeure.
